Labour will force foreign workers to speak English

Gordon Brown explained on April 12th that all public sector workers obliged to speak English. Brown hopes that inhabitants (voters) understand his concerns in this area. If the inhabitants want to get quickly a job, then the English language is applied for them, says Gordon Brown . After that, the party will promise to increase the minimum wage. The party declared that applying the English language should be a positive development and a correction in the United Kingdom.

I think this is a good effort to learn the English language because if the foreign workers apply this language, the communication would be easier in the society. But Gordon Brown knows exactly how to generate this, and I think this is a bit in a sneaky way to expect from the foreign workers to speak English as against getting high paid.

Manchester mother jailed for neglecting baby boy

A 13 months old baby Alex was neglected by his own mother in Manchester. The baby burned almost to death tied up in his own pushchair. Tracey Sutherland, mother of Alex, was sentenced to 27 months in prison. Tracey told the Manchester Crown Court that she was alone with him. Hospital discovered some injuries on Alex’s body. The mother had called the police in the morning of 10 November to explain to them that her baby died, but that was not the case, the baby was injured but was still alive. The reason of doing was that the mother had some depression problems and drunk to much alcohol. Unfortunately, the baby died on the way to the hospital that day.

I was completely in shock when I read this piece of information on the internet. The baby died in a very miserable way. I could not understand that some mothers like Tracey can do this to their own child. The mother had some ‘personal’ problems, but the baby should not be the victim of this. Nowadays, adults are not very responsible and do not have the capacity to raise a child. I find this subject like a nightmare and I think that a lot of mothers think the same as I do.
